Role :: Linux Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Location :: : Sunnyvale, CA(Onsite)

Type :: Contract

Mode of interview: First Interview will be Virtual and in-person interview for the final round

Job Description

• Linux support (RHEL/RHEL/Ubuntu-related products, such as IDM/Satellite/Centrify, etc.)

• Hardware install/break/fix/troubleshoot – Dell/ Cisco UCS

• Drive best practices for operational policies and procedures, including communication, change, and incident management

• Establishing an ecosystem for Linux environments based on best patching and security practices

• Day-to-day operations in dynamic on-premises environments

• Maintain customer-facing, mission-critical 24/7 production services

• 8+ years of experience with Linux (RHEL and Ubuntu, all other Linux flavors or Windows are HUGE PLUS)

• Good grasp of fundamental security concepts with hands-on experience in implementing security controls and compliance requirements

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work well in a dynamic, collaborative team environment

• Working knowledge of risk management and standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related degree, required
