What You'll Do:
As a Land Development Manager, you'll play a pivotal role by overseeing various aspects of land development projects
Your responsibilities will include:
- Securing timely planning and engineering approvals
- Developing and analyzing conceptual plans in coordination with Sales & Marketing
- Producing financial budgets and evaluations for plan alternatives
- Managing land development and planning approval schedules
- Leading a team of consultants to ensure timely project completion
- Reviewing earthwork strategies to minimize costs
- Participating in acquisitions and due diligence processes
- Procuring necessary construction and engineering services
What You Bring:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Planning, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field
- Previous experience in project management, preferably in a similar role
- Supervisory experience, demonstrating strong leadership skills
- Excellent project management abilities, including budgeting and scheduling
- A solid understanding of land development processes and related disciplines
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in reading various types of maps and engineering plans
- Experience in the homebuilding and land development industry
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project
Bonus Points:
- Master's degree in Construction, Real Estate, or related field
- PE Certification
