Summary

This role is focused on building strong client relationships, motivating them to achieve their goals with an engaging and empathetic communication style. Success depends on collaborating with clients and teams, understanding their needs, and aligning solutions to drive results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with both new and existing commercial and industrial contractor accounts to drive sales and solicit orders.
  • Promote and execute the company's sales strategy, ensuring accurate recording of all IMARK activities to support the plan's objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for resolving customer issues in collaboration with Inline Electric Supply or supplier personnel.
  • Manage customer orders and material procurement, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Achieve and maintain profitability targets and sales goals for the assigned territory.
  • Keep product information, procedures, pricing, delivery schedules, inventory availability, and backorder status updated.
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion to drive the company's sales and marketing objectives.
  • Handle any additional duties as assigned by the department manager or leadership team.

Required Skills:

  • Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build strong, lasting client relationships.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications and software.
  • Strong punctuality and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of electrical materials is preferred but not required.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with an approved clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Ability to climb, reach, grasp, and crouch as needed.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Visual acuity to perform job functions.
