As a Shift Manager at Amazon, you will lead a large and diverse team and ensure that your business area keeps up with demand.
In this hands-on role, you will become familiar with the complex operations of a global company and learn what it takes to keep everything running smoothly.
Together with your colleagues, you will work to increase productivity and overcome challenges. No two days are the same.Key job responsibilities:
- Promoting a culture of safety and wellbeing
- Analyzing and implementing corrective measures to consistently ensure high quality and productivity, as well as crossshift adherence to all company goals
- Supporting and leading a team, as well as handling administrative tasks; building and supporting a strong team culture
- Analyzing performance and making suggestions for process improvements to optimize workflows and customer service
- Collaborating with other managers to standardize shift processes
A day in the life:
You will work in different shifts at one of our operational locations. Your main focus will be on ensuring safety standards are met by your team and at your entire location. You will also monitor process efficiency. Priorities in your daily work include routine team management and daily operational activities. In addition to other tasks such as handling escalations, process improvements, and cross-functional emergency planning.
As an important member of the operations team, you will work with colleagues from other teams and external partners to ensure that we meet the requirements of our customers as well as our own standards at all times.
