We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Networking Technician to join our team in Sherman, TX.

The primary focus of this role is on the preparation and verification of data cables in a large warehouse setting, utilizing the Fluke Pen Tester.

This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and performance of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare data cables for certification, including organizing, labeling, and ensuring they meet initial quality standards.
Conduct thorough verification of data cables using the Fluke Pen Tester and other testing equipment.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of cable verification results, identifying any discrepancies for further review.
Collaborate with the senior technician in troubleshooting and resolving issues identified during the verification process.
Work closely with the team to optimize the cable certification workflow and maintain an organized workspace.

Qualifications:

Associate degree in Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in networking, specifically in cable verification.
Proficiency in using cable testing equipment, particularly the Fluke Pen Tester, with demonstrated experience.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
