Maple Glen Network Administrator (m/f/d)Your responsibilities:
- Administration, operation, maintenance, and performance tuning of the IT network infrastructure:
- LAN / WAN / W-LAN
- Switching and routing (e.g. 802.1X, BGP, OSPF, RPVST)
- Network segmentation / firewall
- VPN
- Ensuring service stability and availability
- Developing new concepts, as well as analyzing, improving, and expanding the existing network infrastructure
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting network elements, as well as providing 2nd level support
- Collaborating on IT infrastructure projects with internal and external teams, including taking on project management tasks
- Coordinating and managing manufacturers and service partners for troubleshooting / error correction (3rd level) and installations
- Creating project, system, and application documentation
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of service performance and quality
Your profile:
- Completed education in the IT field
- Several years of professional experience in network administration, with proven knowledge in network protocols and techniques, as well as network architecture design
- Indepth knowledge of routing and switching, as well as experience in administering firewall systems
- Good understanding of controllerbased W-LAN, NAC (802.1x), VPN, and SDN
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to independently analyze complex situations
- Excellent communication skills and an open and friendly demeanor
- Structured and independent work style, with a solutionoriented
