Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ordering and tracking parts
  • BOM creation
  • Releasing drawings/documents, tracking and ordering COPS, GFE
  • Shipping as required, and other general support as requested
  • Edits format of required documentation
  • Interfaces with technicians, engineers and engineering managers to create/ edit documentation
  • Assists in tracking action items, risk management tools, and tasks in the change management tools
  • Supports the Bid & Proposal process, assisting in bid narratives and bid reviews
  • Networks with both internal and external personnel at multiple levels in own area of expertise
  • Represents organization as a prime contact on projects, often coordinating activities of support personnel and communicating effectively
  • Obtaining or providing information or data on matters of moderate importance to the function of the department or which may be of sensitive nature
  • Generally works on moderately difficult assignments which are given in terms of objectives to be accomplished and priorities to be followed. Requires judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations
  • Contributes to lab management team utilizing SCOUT
  • Manages and assigns EMC board review requests

Basic Qualifications:


  • Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • 2 years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Strong communication and project coordination skills
  • Experience with customer support and service preferred
