Description
To broaden and deepen relationships with the consultant community, by facing off with key research staff, c-suite, senior management and field consultants as well as OCIO/discretionary.
To execute these plans in partnership with key abrdn stakeholders across Executive Leadership Team, Senior Management, Investments, Sales, Relationship Management and Marketing.
Support and advance the firm's strategic plans, building on existing relationships with the consultant community and strengthening abrdn's presence and level of search activity across all strategies within the consultant channel.
Partner with Institutional Sales and Client Relationship Management to retain assets and increase asset growth.Develop and maintain strong relationships with portfolio management teams and investment specialists and a thorough knowledge of abrdn's investment strategies and capabilities.
Document meaningful consultant interactions in Contact Management System.Strong academic credentials; MBA and/or CFA a plus
Minimum of 15 years' experience in the asset management or investment consultant business with substantial time in consultant relations or as a consultant.
Possess a strong network of high-level contacts within the consultant community, with both field and research consultantsNote any travel requirements or overtime requirements)
~ Travel is compulsory and will vary in frequency, 20-40% expected including international travel
