:

The Service Coordinator is responsible for procurement, valuation, and disposition of the company's property including vehicles, computers, and tools.

This position will support the management team with the day-to-day operations of the company's property to ensure compliance and safety.


Must be an independent self-starter who is highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task and handle frequently changing priorities.


Requirements:


Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job

  • Maintain vendor and service provider relationships for fuel, maintenance, and other essential services.
  • Coordinate vehicle maintenance pickup and dropoffs.
  • Facilitate work orders and coordinate workflow.
  • Respond to requests for service and assistance in a timely manner.
  • Inspect trucks, equipment, or other types of company property.
  • Communicate work order status daily to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Research quotes and source parts from external vendors.
  • Determine if vehicle maintenance issues are under warranty or need outside vendor repairs.
  • Provide guidance in developing asset management policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Conduct monthly reviews with the management team to review equipment condition, utilization issues, and disposal opportunities.
  • Create and distribute periodic reports on companyowned assets to maximize utilization.
  • Manage internal equipment assets and checkout procedures.
  • Oversee employees' vehicle assigned items and company inventories.
  • Administer insurance policy coverage, negotiate agreements, and participate in claim resolution.
  • Collaborate with the project managers on sourcing, ordering, and calling off the equipment, rental based on project company needs.
  • Assist with fulfilling operational and customer demand while meeting department goals.
  • Maintain clean, safe, free of hazards and orderly environment, and adhere to all Company and industry (i.e., OSHA) standards/regulations.
  • Conduct business in an ethical and trustworthy manner at all times.
  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions/direction from Warehouse Manager to execute tasks accurately, timely and safely.
  • Ability to follow company policies, procedures, and directives.
  • Ability to interact in a positive and constructive manner.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Ability to be at work and on time.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Computer Skills:

Proficient with MS Office, Word, Excel; and other related software.


Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • At least (2+) years of related experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills; verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and clientfacing skills.
  • Ability to implement and carry out improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to perform general vehicle maintenance.
