(FVB) is the umbrella organization for seven research institutes in the fields of natural sciences, engineering, environment, and life sciences.

With a total of approximately 1,600 employees from over 60 countries, it is one of the largest non-university research institutions in Berlin.

The institutes are members of the Leibniz Association and are jointly funded by the federal government and the states. They have a joint administrative infrastructure (association administration) across all institutes.


For an interesting and diverse range of tasks, we are looking for a
Head of Procurement and Tendering Department (m/f/d) at our location in Berlin-Adlershof
starting immediately.


Your responsibilities:


  • You will lead a team of five employees.
  • You and your team are responsible for the preparation and implementation of our national and European tendering procedures.
  • You advise our institutes and stakeholders (scientists/project managers) on procurement and tendering issues for budgetintensive purchases and associationwide projects.
  • You optimize associationwide procurement processes and quality management.
  • You participate in tendering committees of the Leibniz Association, among others.

Your profile:


  • You have successfully completed a relevant academic degree at the level of Magister, Dipl
