Data Governance Architect

Location:
West Sacramento CA
Minimum Technical Qualifications

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance objectives and priorities aligned with business goals.
Design and implement data governance processes for data acquisition, storage, usage, and disposal.
Lead data governance initiatives, including the establishment of data stewardship roles and responsibilities.
Provide guidance and support to crossfunctional teams on data governance best practices and standards.
Evaluate and select data governance tools and technologies to support the organization's data management strategy.
Conduct assessments and audits to monitor compliance with data governance policies and regulations.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data governance practices to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in data governance, data management, and architecture.
Strong understanding of data governance principles, including data quality, metadata management, and data lineage.
Proficiency in data modeling, data integration, and data security concepts.
Experience with data governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or IBM InfoSphere.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

Job Type:
Contract

Pay:
From $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift

Experience:

- data governance, data management, and architecture: 10 years (required)
- implement data governance processes for data acquisition: 3 years (preferred)
