Location:
Holy Cross Health has two hospitals and four healthcare centers all a short driving distance from Washington DC and Baltimore, MD

  • Develops and maintains emphasis on evidencebased practice through modeling, mentoring, facilitating, and educating to ensure key learnings are being communicated.
  • Assumes oversight of professional development, clinical advancement program, peer review, preceptor, mentoring programs, and retention strategies.
  • Promote nursing excellence, recognition, and empowerment through nursing professional governance, development of nurses.
  • Improve nursesensitive and patient outcomes through interprofessional and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Coordinate and support other activities related to professional nursing practice and care innovation as assigned by the Chief Nursing Office.
  • Assumes responsibility for coordinating nursing and interprofessional research, using evidencebased practice methodologies to improve patient care and nursing practice.
Performs duties of a highly confidential nature that requires a comprehensive knowledge of organizational policies, practices and procedures.

Composes and prepares complex correspondence and reports, gathers and interprets information to develop complex reports, maintains departmental files, and provides exemplary customer service to internal and external customers.

Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Health.

  • Master's degree in nursing, health care administration, or related field. Doctorate preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a Magnet designated hospital.
  • Previous experience and knowledge with the Magnet or Pathways to Excellence Recognition programs.
  • Highly organized and skilled professional with a commitment to excellence and will possess the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Possess excellent communication, customer service, and problemsolving skills, while displaying a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member is essential.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and collaborative interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships.
  • Ability to analyze and communicate relevant data, accurately evaluate complex problems, develop solutions, implement plans, and evaluate outcomes.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, cope effectively with change, and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
