Your tasks:

Conceptualization and development of software programs and tools for data collection and analysis.
Development of new business intelligence methods based on applied statistical procedures using relevant tools.
Conducting data collection and statistical queries.
Modeling of economic issues.
Use of SPSS, MS Excel, Access, and SQL.
Result preparation and presentation.
Answering complex economic questions.
Development of prototypes and applications for data evaluation.

Completed degree in business informatics or a comparable field of study.
Proficient in relational databases and SQL, as well as data collection and statistical tools such as SPSS.
Experience in implementing software projects and with OLAP tools (e.g. Business Objects, Cognos).
Practical experience in programming in VB, VBA, and XML.
Experience in reporting within data warehouse projects.
Ideally, knowledge of the Taguchi method, multivariate tests, ROOT, and correlation analysis.
Excellent database knowledge (e.g. Oracle, DB2, MS SQL Server).
Analytical thinking and mathematical understanding.
Strong communication skills in German and English.
