GPI is seeking a full-time Transportation Project Manager for our growing Highway Design Group in our Bedford, NH office.

    We are looking for an individual who is ready to work collaboratively with a multi-discipline team of engineers in a dynamic office environment on interesting and challenging projects.

    Projects in our New England offices involve varying types of roadway, bridge, intersection, and trail designs.

    Management, supervision, and design of transportation projects for public agencies and municipalities in New Hampshire and/or Maine
    Supervision and development of Plans, Specifications, and Estimates for projects under the oversight of the Director of Transportation Engineering
    Directing and mentoring team members in the production of transportation design projects
    Development of project contracts, schedules, budgets, and quality control plans
    Presenting of highway-related design elements to clients and stakeholders
    Providing quality control for construction plans and design documents generated by other team members
    BS in Civil Engineering
    NHDOT, MaineDOT, MTA, and/or Northern New England municipal client experience
    Able to interpret and apply technical information contained in procedures and manuals (including state-specific manuals) to accomplish the design process for assigned projects
    Strong technical writing and communication skills
    Progressive experience in highway design for public agencies
    #Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language
    Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
