    Job Description

    As a Senior Accountant, you'll handle various responsibilities including preparing diverse journal entries, conducting bank reconciliations, and ensuring accuracy in high-risk balance sheet and operating statement accounts. Additionally, you will be responsible for cash forecasting and analysis. You'll play a vital role in supporting the Accounting Department's overall functions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Collaborate closely with the Accounting Supervisor for monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.

    Prepare and document various journal entries in the general ledger.

    Manage cash receipts and perform bank reconciliations.

    Coordinate and reconcile intercompany activities with affiliated entities.

    Conduct reconciliations and analyses for balance sheet accounts.

    Prepare assigned materials for external audits.

    Cash Forecasting and Analysis

    -Implementing and maintaining accrual accounting principles to ensure accurate financial reporting

    Contribute to special projects from development to completion.

    Undertake additional accounting tasks as assigned.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    Proficient in MS Office, accounting software, and database management.

    Capable of handling substantial data sets.

    Familiarity with bookkeeping, accounting principles, and regulations.

    Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is advantageous.

    Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

    5+ years of experience in corporate accounting.

    Previous experience in the healthcare industry is a bonus.
