Residential Real Estate Accounting with Yardi experience preferred. ONLY NORTHERN NEW JERSEY RESIDENT CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED***This position will primarily be responsible for the day-to-day activities of resident billings, collections and preparation of financial statements for residential buildings. Maintain proper control over accounting procedures and transactions.
Responsibilities include (not all inclusive):
- Assemble necessary documents and prepare supporting schedules (Insurance, Real Estate Taxes, Interest Expense, etc) to assist in preparing annual tax returns and work papers.
- Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations.
- Review general ledger activity to verify information has been posted correctly.
- Maintain filing system of all companies.
- Prepare and review monthly billing reports to ensure following month's recurring charges and past due charges are accurate.
- Prepare security deposit refund requests and analysis and reconciliation of security accounts.
- Abstract and input all rental obligations related to leases and all other important lease information such as compliance
- Insurance certificates, pest control, maintenance, HVAC, etc.
Pay:
$75, $80,000.00 per year
