- Develop and implement long-term strategies for effective facilities management aligned with DCM objectives.
- Collaborate with key senior management to understand and address facility-related needs and requirements.
- Oversee day-to-day facility operations, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment.
- Implement efficient processes to enhance overall operational effectiveness and resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to facility management.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, emergency procedures, and security measures.
- Develop and manage the facilities budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Monitor expenses, identify and present cost-saving opportunities to senior management.
- Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to service level agreements.
- Foster a culture of professionalism, guiding teams to achieve optimal results.
- Understand and own every aspect of the facility teams performance; set targets, drive execution, and hold the team accountable for both individual and team results.
- Collaborate effectively with the Human Resources Department and appropriate partners to implement and manage the company's policies and procedures.
- Partner with the Human Resources Department to monitor staff performance, provide timely feedback, along with development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, conduct annual performance evaluations, and administer salary adjustments.
- Retain and develop top performers by understanding individual's motivations and providing actionable feedback.
- Addresses low performance quickly, compassionately, and in alignment with company policies.
- Manage employee's scheduling, basic time off requests, performance reviews, etc.
- For legal reasons, all employees need to be at least 21 years of age.
- You will be asked to pass a Federal and State criminal history background check.

- You will be asked to carry/lift loads of up to 50lbs, often times repeatedly, throughout the day.
- This position requires standing, stooping, squatting, or crouching for more than 4 hours sequentially.
- This position requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects.
- As this position will mainly be working in the greenhouse, we ask that you be willing and able to work in an environment with high light and heat levels.

General Manager of Operations
The General Manager of Operations at MCPP is a pivotal role responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and overall management of daily operations. This dynamic leader is required to possess a comprehensive understanding of facility operations, financial management, and safety protocols. Key responsibilities include overseeing multiple teams, setting performance expectations, engaging in strategic planning, ensuring financial health, optimizing operational efficiency, maintaining quality control, fostering positive customer relations, managing risks, ensuring compliance with regulations, and facilitating effective communication across the entire company. The General Manager of Operations must be a seasoned professional with strong leadership skills and a strategic mindset to drive the success of MCPP.
