CNC Lathe Machinist Job Offering Full Time Job— CNC Diamond Turning Technician 14 Fahey Street Stamford, CT 06907 Duties and Responsibilities Setup and operate CNC Diamond Turning Lathes, Perform inspections, be responsible for the quality of parts being machined, interact with a shop manager - team leader.

Perform first piece inspections using the latest metrology, CMM's and Keyence Optical CMM. Maintain the machinery as trained to do so. Training will be provided. Company Information KAF is a privately owned company operated by its founder Jack Feighery.

Founded in 1970 it is a precision machining facility serving the machining needs of the Analytical Chemistry, Optical, Scientific, Pharmaceutical, Homeland Security, Aerospace and other fields.

Our equipment is State of the Art, Hi-Tech with the metrology to support the type of work we solicit. Our work force is skilled and well trained.

CNC Lathe, CNC 5 axis Mill, EDM Ram, Small Hole, and Wire EDM, Diamond Turning and Diamond Fly Cutting, Grinding, Lapping, Laser marking, 3D Printing, CMM's Hexagon, Keyence, AS9100D certification Qualifications 1-3 years of OJT or Vocational H.S.

graduate in the Trade, Or college 2 years Engineering with shop background. Proven ability operate CNC Equipment or demonstrate a technical back ground. Must be able to follow operational plans. Experience in using precision measuring tools, ability to inspect parts and hold close tolerances. A team player who communicates well with others. Familiar with CNC Lathes, the ability to read drawings and understand engineering terminology is real asset.
