    Lathe Machinist

    Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday - First Shift
    Pay Rate:Minimum Pay: $21 per hourMaximum Pay: $26 per hour
    Location: Long Island City, NY
    Experience: 1 year of Lathe Machinist experience

    Lathe Machinist Job Responsibilities include:
    • Set up machine and operate lathes according to production
    • Fabricate parts and assemble raw materials in a safe working environment
    • Monitor machine and troubleshoot program problems
    • Read technical drawings to convert into machine
    • Maintain a clean working environment
    • Other duties as assigned
    Lathe Machinist Job Requirements include:
    • 1 year of experience in setting up and operating a Lathe Machine
    • Able to interpret blueprints
    • Manual dexterity and efficiency in a high volume environment
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Able to accomplish repetitive tasks as needed
