    Monarch Cabinetry's Moulder Set-Up Operators are an integral part of the cabinet making process. The Weinig Moulder is the most important machine in the Mill department. It is because of the Moulder Set-Up Operator's extreme attention to detail and machine awareness that we are able to create custom moulding pieces for each cabinet that we sell.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.

    RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DUTIES:

    • Ability to read and comprehend order paperwork and blueprints.
    • In depth mathematical understanding of fractions, decimals, radius, axis, etc.
    • Ability to use and understand calipers.
    • Ability to follow and understand machine set up protocols for a Weinig Moulder machine.
    • Ability to troubleshoot machine issues for a Weinig Moulder machine.
    • Dedication to keeping a clean and well-organized working environment.
    • Ability to prioritize and meet project deadlines in a timely manner.
    • Willingness to learn other department areas and assist with other duties as assigned.

    COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:

    • Measuring skills on a tape measure to nearest 1/16th of an inch.
    • Basic mathematical understanding.
    • Listening and communication skills.
    • Teamwork.
    • Punctuality.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    Prior woodworking or cabinetry experience is preferred but not required.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, or stepstools on an occasional basis.
    • Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces on an occasional basis.
    • Remain constantly standing/sitting in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time.
    • Moving about accomplishing tasks or moving from one workstation to another on an occasional basis.
    • Adjusting or moving objects of varying weights in all directions.
      • Constant movement of objects up to 20 pounds.
      • Occasional movement of objects up to 75 pounds.
    • Constant repeated motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
    • Constantly communicating with others to exchange information.
    • Constant operation of machinery and/or power tools.
    • Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment on an occasional basis.

    ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

    • Occasional exposure to high temperatures during summer months.
    • Occasional exposure to noisy environments.
    • Occasional exposure to airborne particles, specifically sawdust.
    • Occasional exposure to hazardous materials, specifically chemical hazards in the form of glues or solvents.

    JOB LOCATION:

    Sullivan, Illinois.

    PAY SCALE:

    $16.00 to $20.00 an hour. This is based on experience with the potential to increase at 30/90-day performance reviews.

    WORK SCHEDULE:

    Monday through Friday, 6am to 2:30pm. (40 hours a week.)
