    Testing Coordinator

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Testing Coordinator is responsible for the administration, development and implementation of initiatives, supervision of employees, and management of the operating budget for an office/department/program.The Coordinator is also a Certified Test Administrator who is responsible for registering students, maintaining accurate records, and proctoring exams.

    MAJOR DUTIES

  • Monitors the activities of personnel to ensure compliance with TCSG policy manual and department procedures;
  • Develops and/or assists with the development of policies and procedures and recommends changes to effectively meet the goals and requirements of the program;
  • Evaluates employees at scheduled intervals upon reviewing of all relevant information;
  • Proctors various academic, distance learning, exemption and nationally recognized college exams to ensure test security on multiple campuses and off campus locations to include local prisons;
  • Obtains and maintains Pearson VUE Test Administrator Certification;
  • Obtains and maintains HiSET Test Administrator Certification;
  • Oversees exam software installation, maintenance and upgrades;
  • Registers students for academic based exams;
  • Monitors daily exam schedule;
  • Maintains exam files;
  • Prepares and sends correspondences to other colleges, instructors, and testing agents;
  • Creates site, incident and irregularity reports;
  • Develops Assessment Training materials;
  • Attends required trainings and virtual meetings to stay updated on latest testing requirements;
  • Disseminates testing updates to part time test administrators;
  • Participates in assessment, planning, budgeting, and staff development; and
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    In addition to the minimum qualifications:

  • Test Administrator experience
