Description

is seeking a qualified individual interested in a career as a construction manager and project superintendent with our general construction company in Wyndmoor, PA (directly adjacent to Chestnut Hill).

Job responsibilities will include overseeing and coordinating construction projects (such as multi-family, commercial, residential, and institutional), and ensuring they run smoothly from start to finish.

• Project Oversight
• Oversee and direct subcontractors and suppliers. Maintain an organized and safe jobsite environment.

• Supervise all onsite and project relevant offsite activities to ensure compliance with the construction documents.

• Plan ahead and identify potential problems and issues during the construction process. Prepare and present possible solutions.

• Prepare daily progress reports and track the construction progress as it relates to the construction schedule.
• Planning and Cost Estimation review project documents (drawings, specifications, etc.), develop construction bidding, and plan construction schedules.

• Willing to perform necessary carpentry, laborer, and general construction tasks to keep a project moving.

• Proven construction experience that has prepared you for the position listed
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of the construction process, building codes, and safety regulations
• Carpentry experience a plus
• BLUEBEAM software experience a plus
• PROCORE software experience a plus
• Vehicle and basic carpentry tools
