- Call on prospective and existing clients to generate loans, deposits, and referrals.
- Participate in community-oriented and professional organizations.
- Cross-sell bank investment, trust, deposit, and loan products.
- Analyze financial statements, underwrite credit, prepare credit memos, and assist in loan presentations.
- Ensure proper loan documentation and closure.
- Guarantee compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Manage established loan and deposit portfolios.
- Present loan information to top management and the board of directors.
- 5+ years of commercial lending experience covering business development, credit underwriting, documentation, and portfolio management.
- Ability in relationship management, business development/sales skills, bank product knowledge, and Bank Core Systems.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Credit analysis and underwriting proficiency.
- Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Networking within commercial markets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Programs, Bank Core Systems, and office equipment.
- Effective in managing customer relationships.
- Capable of working independently.
- Skilled in connecting and networking with business owners and leaders.
- Aptitude in focusing and interpreting data for others.
- Able to lift, push, and pull files up to 10 lbs.
- Capable of bending, stooping, and mobility within an office environment.
- Comfortable sitting in front of a computer for extended periods.
- Good speech and hearing capabilities with clients.
- Strong visual abilities to read and type on the computer.
- Reliable transportation for travel within San Antonio and neighboring areas.
- Occasional travel to other banking centers for meetings.
