Laboratory Technician - Holmdel, NJ

You will spend your time...

Making samples using a computer task management system
Performing Flashpoint, pH, Viscosity, and Titration testing.
Checking stock of bases and oils
Providing help when it is needed in other labs.
Properly maintaining their bays
Maintaining corporate fragrance oils via collection and restocking of incoming requests

Job Requirements:

Required Skills:

Industry knowledge: Technical knowledge of base formulation. Equipment knowledge of pH meters, flashpoint machine, viscometers, and titrators.
Computer skills: Must be proficient in basic computer knowledge and comfortable using automated systems and computer task management tools.
Must be able to start and complete a task in a dynamic environment:
Adapt to changes and priorities due to customer request. Ability to give and receive verbal and written communications.
Must be safe and conscientious lab operator for the protection of all employees.

Required Experience:

Experience working with pH meters, flashpoint machine, viscometers, and titrators.
Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) is a plus.
2 or 4 year college degree preferred.
