Job Summary and Qualifications

The Respiratory Therapist plays a vital role in delivering top-notch, patient-centered respiratory care in alignment with departmental needs. They perform diagnostic tests, therapeutic procedures, and monitor patients on ventilation.

What you will do in this role:

Perform and document patient assessments, including breath sounds and airway patency.
Administer respiratory therapies such as oxygen delivery and chest physiotherapy.
Assist with artificial airway placement and monitor mechanical ventilation.
Monitor patient responses to therapies and intervene as necessary.
Respond to emergency situations to ensure airway and ventilation stability.

What qualifications are required:

Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
State Registered Respiratory Therapist designation.
Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
