    The Role

    Are you ready to lead a top-notch leasing team and transform the apartment living experience? AvalonBay Communities is seeking a Senior Community Manager to elevate office operations, uphold high quality standards, and ensure residents enjoy luxurious living.

    • Foster positive relationships with residents, promptly addressing concerns.
    • Enforce lease agreements and community policies consistently.
    • Organize resident events to promote a sense of community.
    • Manage the property's budget, revenue, expenses, and capital improvements.

    You Have:

    • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required
    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Minimum 5 years of multi-family property management experience
    • At least 3 years of people management experience
    • Experience in community operations, financial performance, customer service, communications, and staffing
    • Proven ability to resolve resident issues effectively
    • Support and coach subordinates for improved performance
    • Exercise professional judgment and manage third-party contracts
