Financial Accountant (m/f/d)

FDM GmbH is part of the internationally active PIOVAN Group, specializing in machinery and plant engineering for the plastics processing industry. To expand our accounting/controlling department, we are currently looking for:

Financial Accountant (m/f/d) full-time Your responsibilities

  • Independent preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Account clarification and reconciliation, including intercompany reconciliations
  • Preparation of bookings according to IFRS
  • Participation in monthly analysis, reporting and controlling activities
  • Preparation of monthly sales tax returns, ZM reports, Intrastat reports and other reports to authorities
  • Recording, formal review, allocation and processing of incoming invoices
  • Participation in annual budget and forecast planning
  • Contact person (m/f/d) for tax consultants, auditors and the controlling team of our Italian headquarters

Your profile

  • Completed training as a financial accountant (m/f/d) or comparable qualification
  • Solid knowledge and experience in the field of accounting and balance sheet preparation according to German GAAP (IFRS would be an advantage)
  • Good knowledge of sales tax
