Description

The German Railway is one of the most diverse employers in Germany.

Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to become even better with us.

We are currently seeking applicants for a 2-year apprenticeship as a Tiefbaufacharbeiter (civil engineering worker) at our Berlin location, starting on August 19, 2024.

The vocational school and training workshop are also located in Berlin.

During your apprenticeship, you can expect:

To work on various construction sites, sometimes at multiple locations throughout Germany
To learn how to excavate deep trenches, set shafts, and secure them
To work with stateoftheart machinery and different building materials
To gain knowledge in the proper use of surveying equipment

Your profile:

You have (or will soon have) successfully completed school and are ideally at least 17 years old at the start of your apprenticeship
You prefer working outdoors rather than in an office
Different work locations, schedules, and night shifts are a welcome change for you
You are dedicated and reliable
You enjoy working in a team and are willing to lend a hand
