Ginsberg's Foods in Hudson, NY is looking to hire a full-time
Night Warehouse Team Trainer to our ever-growing team

The
Night Warehouse Team Trainer provides oversight and execution of the operational training program. In partnership with other departments, this position will assist in the planning, coordination, facilitation and tracking of training.

This position will also maintain an active presence within the warehouse and provide direct support to the night warehouse employees.

When not actively training, the Team Trainer will perform the duties of a Warehouse Generalist.


Starting hourly rate is $22.88 to $34.40 per hour, commensurate on proven ability to effectively train warehouse employees.

Weekly Work Schedule:
Sunday - Thursday, 5pm - 1:30am with
mandatory
overtime when needed during the week.
Overtime is available after 40hrs and is paid weekly

must be able to comfortably lift and maneuver cases that weigh up to
80lbs.

A Few Key Essential Job Requirements:

  • Plans, coordinates, and delivers training for new employees and refresher training for existing employees working within the warehouse.
  • Conducts the training of warehouse best practices and material handling equipment for warehouse associates through the use of documented learning guides, best practices, standard operating procedures and online training.
  • Assists in tracking and monitoring of training program completion.
  • Works closely with Human Resources and the Director of Warehouse Operations, Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Supervisor(s) and Warehouse Team Leader(s) to ensure thorough training of all night warehouse employees.
  • Coordinates activities in compliance with all appropriate policies, safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
  • Performs followup evaluations to ensure training was successful and makes program adjustments as necessary.
  • Remains knowledgeable and informed of changes in policies, procedures and functions in all departmental areas of the warehouse and incorporates updates to training programs as necessary.

Experience:
Required

  • 2 year(s): Progressive responsibility in warehouse operations or relevant experience in a trainer role if a high school diploma or G.E.D. is possessed
  • 1 year(s): Progressive responsibility in warehouse operations if an Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Management, Logistics or related field is possessed.

Education:
