$10,000 sign-on bonus and offer housing / a housing stipend to the successful candidate for the first 90 days of employment.
We have 30 steps on our clinical pay scales to compensate staff for 30 years of relevant experience.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our skilled nursing facility's clinical operations.
The DON will play a pivotal role in maintaining our Joint Commission Accreditation and upholding the highest standards of care delivery.
The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of nursing services, ensuring adherence to regulations, fostering a culture of excellence, and promoting a collaborative environment among the healthcare team.
DON manages and/or leads the nursing department to meet legal, organizational, and medical staff guidelines in order that optimum health care delivery may be implemented.
Organize, direct, plan, assess, implement, and lead the nursing services of the Plumas District Hospital including Skilled nursing facility.Living in Quincy, CA is a unique experience.
Located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the stunning natural beauty of the area provides plenty of activities such as camping, hiking, biking, and skiing.

Qualifications:
Required Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in nursing or related field.
Required Experience:
Minimum 5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility setting.
Required Certifications and Licenses:
Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilites:
Knowledge of Joint Commission standards and experience in maintaining accreditation. Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, quality improvement processes, and evidence-based nursing practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse nursing team. Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant technology. Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively. Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous quality improvement.
