    Description

    Estridge Homes, Indiana's premier regional builder of over 50 years, is growing and we are looking for a BIM Designer to join our architecture and design team.

    In this role, you will be supporting the Product Development team by processing new plan designs, maintaining, and updating current product offerings, and creating new options to satisfy an ever-changing market and sales environment.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    · Take plans from conceptual design drawings to full working documents utilizing industry, and Estridge Standards.

    · Verify plans and drawings for code compliance and accuracy.

    · Log and track product maintenance items and implementation with in-house architectural and estimating staff.

    · Update existing plans per product maintenance lists for collection consistency.

    · Keep track of production schedules from conceptual design to final base plan prints.

    · Work closely with job site personnel to coordinate plan changes and respond to plan discrepancies and/or questions.

    · Creation and cataloging of standard plan options as needed for internal operations and sales team.

    Skills and Experience:

    · 2-year architectural or similar degree in architectural drafting and documentation, 4-year degree is a plus.

    · 5-6 years of architectural drafting and detailing, or applicable industry experience.

    · Proven ability to produce and generate full sets of architectural drawings.

    · Ability to catalog, plan, and execute complex options matrixes in CAD.

    · Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, or other architectural software, Vertex BD is a plus.

    · Collaborative self-starter with strong verbal/written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.

    Employment Status:

    · Full time Position (40 Hours per week)
