Live-in Caregiver - Passaic, United States - Vyta Care

Responsibilities:

• Provide inhome care to individuals with various needs and conditions, including dementia, hospice care, developmental disabilities, autism, etc.
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
• Monitor and record vital signs of clients
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and organizing
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients at all times
• Respect and uphold the rights of residents

Requirements:

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
• Knowledge and experience in providing care for individuals with dementia, hospice care, developmental disabilities, autism, etc.
• Ability to administer medications accurately and safely
• Familiarity with first aid procedures
• Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility needs
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
• Compassionate and patient demeanor

$ $200.00 per day
