Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

❖ Design and implement overall recruiting strategy

❖ Identifying future hiring needs and developing job descriptions and specifications.

❖ Collaborating with department managers to compile a consistent list of requirements.

❖ Conducting interviews, assessing applicants' knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions.

❖ Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges, etc.

❖ Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team.

❖ Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.

❖ Post openings in online venues, with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues.

❖ Aid public relations in establishing a recognizable employer of choice reputation for the company, both internally and externally.

❖ Coordinate college recruiting initiatives & career fairs.

❖ Give presentations at colleges, attend student group meetings, and increase college awareness of the company before and after career fairs.

❖ Manage the use of staffing agencies & headhunters.

❖ Performs other duties as required and assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

❖ Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress, etc.)

❖ Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference checks, etc.)

❖ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

❖ Strong decision-making skills

❖ Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality

❖ Ability to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations

❖ Excellent interpersonal skills, including leadership, influencing, and relationship-building across functions

❖ Extremely organized, detailed oriented, offering follow-up skills, with the ability to maintain accuracy while managing multiple deadlines in a growing company environment


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree (B.

S.) from four-year college or university in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field; or two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


LOCATION:

Options of Remote, Hybrid or in Office at our Syosset, NY, Princeton, NJ or Newark, NJ locations.


SALARY RANGE:

$50, $72,000.00 annually
