Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Medical Receptionist.

As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.

This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.


Responsibilities:

• Greet and checkin patients, verifying their personal and insurance information
• Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate staff members
• Collect copays and process payments
• Maintain patient records and update medical charts using electronic systems: eClinicalWorks
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations when handling patient information
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
• Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a medical or dental office setting is preferred
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems such as eClinicalWorks
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fastpaced environment
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus

$ $19.00 per hour
