We are currently seeking a Medicaid Coordinator/Certified Application Counselor in our Patient Accounts Department.


Responsibilities include:

  • Coordination of the Medicaid process
  • Work closely with the DSS/HRA offices to help patients maintain coverage and avoid lapse in coverage
  • Help patients to acquire prescription coverage through Medicaid grant program
  • Magellan Health.

Qualifications include:

  • High school diploma
  • Deputized New York State Certified Application Counselor certification can be obtained during employee probationary period
  • Electronic billing and computer skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft excel

Pay:
$50, $60,000.00 per year
