Title: Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Greensboro, NC
Shift: M-F 8AM - 5PM

Our client operates in Greensboro, NC and specializes in fuel dispensers, point of sales systems, payment systems, and forecourt merchandising.

Join us to be part of a team that drives mechanical and manufacturing advancements for fuel dispenser structures, hydraulics, electronics packaging, and user interfaces.

Summary

Contribute to mechanical and manufacturing initiatives for fuel dispenser structures, hydraulics, mechanisms, electronics packaging, user interfaces, etc.
Collaborate with Manufacturing and production to ensure design changes align with production requirements.
Support process enhancement endeavors.
Design tooling and fixture solutions to optimize manufacturing procedures.
Initiate and approve Engineering Change Notices/Orders (ECN/ECO).
Integrate new components into ERP/SAP system from inception to completion.
Supervise and disclose project expenses, scheduling, and resource allocation to the leadership team.
Establish and execute standardized work processes for 2D drawings, GD&T, 3D CAD models, technical design reviews, and engineering change orders utilized by global teams to maintain uniform, reliable design practices.
Formulate and uphold Product Requirements Specifications, DFMEAs, and competitive benchmarking records throughout the development lifecycle.
Visit field trial locations to supervise installations and ensure product operability.
Oversee BOM and ERP configurator documents for parts groups and kits.

Requirements

BS in Engineering and preferably 3+ years of experience.
Open to considering candidates with less experience based on capabilities.
Familiarity with ECN/ECO, ERP, and Creo (preferred). Also open to candidates with proficiency in Solidworks/AutoCAD.
Experience in tooling and fixture design.
