    If you are ready to play...Come join us An internship at the Ohio Lottery Commission will add to your professional development and give you practical work experience. The internship is an opportunity to learn and work in your field of study, expand on your classroom knowledge and gain hands-on exposure. College Interns will work closely with agency staff members on a variety of assignments. The internship will begin in June 2024 and end in September 2024. The position is temporary in nature, benefits are not offered.

    What You'll Do:

  • Sales Internship Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Job Duty 1: Maintain updated files and records.

    Job Duty 2: Assist in processing work orders.

    Job Duty 3: Assisting in ongoing sales projects.

    Job Duty 4: Work with our internal Integrated Agent Database application

    Job Duty 5: Perform various administrative tasks as assigned.

    Hours: Work 24-29 hours per week, Monday-Friday.May be eligible for hybrid work schedule with supervisor's approval.

    Reports directly to the Sales Director

  • Finance Internship Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Job Duty 1: Validate and accurately input claims into Claims Information Systems

    Job Duty 2: Conduct thorough file reviews.

    Job Duty 3: Support departmental records retention processes.

    Job Duty 4: Handle all incoming mail.

    Job Duty 5: Assist the Accounts Payable/Claims team with routine tasks.

    Hours: Work 20-29 hours weekly, Monday - Friday.

    Reports directly to the Financial Analyst Supervisor.

  • IT Internship Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Job Duty 1: Assist the Network Information staff in executing endpoint services tasks.

    Job Duty 2: Provide basic technical support to resolve hardware and software issues, including application installations and basic troubleshooting.

    Job Duty 3: Document reported issues from Lottery staff.

    Job Duty 4: Assist with developing and updating technical processes and procedures. Assist with reviewing and proposingnew computing and mobile device hardware options for Lottery staff.

    Job Duty 5: Collaborate with IT staff and end users to assist with enhancing hardware and software procurement processes, technical issue reporting, and Lottery-built application lifecycle management.

    Hours: Work 25-29 hours per week, Monday-Friday.May be eligible for hybrid work schedule with supervisor's approval.

    Reports to the Information Technology Manager.

    4. General Services Internship Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Job Duty 1: Assist in managing inventory operations.

    Job Duty 2:Help keep inventory of office, printer and general supplies at central.

    Job Duty 3: Help with Shipping/Receiving – checking off items on a manifest when they arrive and making shipping labels.

    Job Duty 4: Help keep the pool cars/fleet at central clean (interior and exterior).

    Job Duty 5: Help with salvaging assets at the Perkins warehouse.

    Hours: Work 24 hours per week, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

    Reports to the Inventory Control Specialist Supervisor

    5. Sports Gaming Internship Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

    Job Duty 1: Assist in the review of Marketing/Advertisement submissions.

    Job Duty 2: Compile and prepare weekly host inspection reports for upcoming audits.

    Job Duty 3: Aid in assembling documents for violation and findings reports.

    Job Duty 4: Review transaction summary logs and proprietor report submissions. Compile sales data and contribute to host informational newsletters.

    Job Duty 5: Maintain and organize SharePoint/Teams site.

    Hours: Work 16-20 hours per week Monday - Friday.May be eligible for hybrid work schedule with supervisor's approval.

    Reports to the Sports Gaming Operations Manager.
