Description:

Johnson Memorial Hospital's Emergency Department provides quick and effective response to patient needs, emphasizing professionalism, teamwork, and empathy to positively impact patients' lives.

Responsibilities: Assist in creating and managing nursing care plans, evaluating current and future medical needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. BSN graduate preferred.
Licensure: Current Registered Nurse RN license in Connecticut.
Certification: BLS required. CPI, ACLS, and PALS required within 6 months. TNCC preferred.

Preferred Skills: 2-3 years of Critical Care or Acute Care experience. 2-3 years in an ED setting preferred.

Work Schedule: Part-time, 24-hour days, every other weekend/holiday.

Ministry/Facility Information: Johnson Memorial Hospital and Home & Community Health Services offer healthcare services to north central Connecticut and western Massachusetts residents, with a history of over 100 years.
