Arcetyp LLC is a growing small business that provides a broad range of consulting services to US Federal Government, US Military, and Commercial clients.

Services include Management & IT Consulting, Program & Project Management, and Professional & Admin Services.

We are recruiting to fill a position to lead business development activities for a small government contracting firm focused on IT Services and Cyber Security for clients in Civil and DoD markets.


Arcetyp LLC is looking for an Deputy Program Manager who shall be responsible for the performance of work, TO compliance and quality control for the Master Resilience Training Task Order located at the Directorate of Prevention, Resilience, and Readiness (DPRR) Headquarters (HQ) in Arlington, Virginia.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


  • Assist the Program Manager in developing and maintaining a comprehensive program plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with the Program Manager to define program objectives, success criteria, and strategic goals.
  • Coordinate with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure alignment with program objectives.
  • Step in to lead and oversee the execution of projects within the program as needed, ensuring adherence to project scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks in collaboration with the Program Manager.
  • Maintain regular communication with project managers and team members to ensure effective coordination and collaboration.
  • Serve as a point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns or feedback in the absence of the Program Manager.
  • Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and support for program objectives.
  • Assist the Program Manager in allocating resources efficiently across projects within the program, including personnel, budget, and materials.
  • Identify and help resolve resource constraints or conflicts to ensure the successful execution of projects.
  • Collaborate with the Program Manager to identify potential risks and issues related to program delivery and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate risk factors throughout the program lifecycle, assisting in implementing proactive measures to minimize impact.
  • Support the Program Manager in establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure program success and effectiveness.
  • Assist in conducting regular evaluations and assessments of program performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Assist in preparing and presenting program status reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.

NECESSARY SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:


  • Thorough knowledge of the Army organizational structure, mission objectives, function, procedures, regulations, and policy pertaining to the Department of the Army.
  • Shall speak, read, and comprehend English to the extent of reading and understand printed regulations, written orders, operating procedures, training instructions and materials, and perform the duties assigned.
  • All employees present a professional appearance that is appropriate for their position and adhere to facility dress codes. Contractor employees shall conduct themselves in a professional, efficient, and courteous manner.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Solid understanding of program management methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience in risk management, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (education, experience, skills):


  • Master's degree from an accredited academic institution.
  • Minimum of five to seven years relevant experience managing, staffing, overseeing, and completing largescale Government projects of the same or similar work, such as training facilitation, and including a demonstrated knowledge of support and sustainmentrelated operations.
  • Prior experience serving in the military.
  • Ability to pass the National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) (Tier 1) background investigation.
  • Must a be US citizen.

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS (education, experience, skills):


  • PMP certification preferred.
