About the Children's Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM): CHAM is a 192-bed nationally renowned academic children's hospital providing inpatient, ambulatory, and emergency care for children and adolescents. CHAM is the pediatric hospital of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and is part of the Montefiore Health System spanning the Bronx and Westchester counties in New York. Located in the Bronx, the program is easily accessed from New York City and its suburbs.
About the Division of Developmental Medicine/Rose F. Kennedy Children's Evaluation & Rehabilitation Center of CHAM: RFK CERC has gained national and international reputations for providing superior diagnostic and treatment services to children with the full range of developmental conditions. Its mission is to serve as the "developmental home" for children with neurodevelopmental and behavioral disorders and complex medical needs helping them achieve their potential while providing guidance and support to their families. Educating the next generation of multidisciplinary clinicians and providing community outreach and technical assistance are other important programmatic goals. The multidisciplinary clinical team at the RFK CERC includes 12 developmental behavioral pediatricians along with psychologists, psychiatrist, physiatrist, neurologist, special care dentists, audiologists, speech-language pathologists, social workers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and nutrition among other professionals. This large vibrant clinical program serves 8,500 infants through adults with developmental disabilities yearly. The center also has competitive national funding through the LEND and UCEDD programs supporting its educational and advocacy missions.
The successful candidate will receive an academic appointment at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience. Full Time and Part Time positions are available. In addition to a competitive salary of $170,000-$210,000 commensurate with academic rank, we offer the opportunity to enhance compensation with clinical productivity incentives and bonuses and a generous benefits package including 403b with employer match, 457, tuition reimbursement, long term disability, short term disability, life insurance, paid malpractice, health, dental and vision benefits, and funds for CME activities.
