- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each child.
- Provide direct therapy services to children with various speech and language challenges, including articulation disorders, language delays, fluency disorders, and social communication difficulties.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and educators, to ensure coordinated and holistic care for pediatric patients.
- Educate and empower parents/caregivers on strategies to support their child's communication development and facilitate carryover of skills at home and in other settings.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and communicate effectively with team members and families.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility for licensure.
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in clinical or educational settings preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and engage with children and their families.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to therapy, with a genuine passion for helping children achieve their communication goals.
