Tessenderlo Kerley is a leader in driving innovation and excellence within the chemical industry. As a Raw Materials Buyer, you will ensure our plants have the essential materials required to maintain seamless operations.

This pivotal role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize purchasing processes and systems, and identify improvement opportunities that drive profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage purchasing activities to align with production targets and ensure a steady supply of raw materials.
Provide rolling forecasts to suppliers and track price variations based on contractual indices.
Maintain optimal stock levels in collaboration with plant managers to minimize disruptions and manage inventory efficiently.
Lead initiatives for supplier relationship management, including contract reviews and negotiating favorable terms.
Engage with internal stakeholders across all levels to align procurement activities with broader company strategies.
Conduct market assessments, manage requests for proposals, and perform risk evaluations to support strategic procurement decisions.

Qualifications What We're Looking For**:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related fields.
At least five years of relevant experience as a buyer in the agriculture (AG) or oil and gas (O&G) industries.
Proven capability in sourcing, contracting and managing postaward procurement processes.
Strong strategic thinking and problemsolving skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence key business decisions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Agile and collaborative team player capable of interfacing effectively with suppliers and multiple internal teams.
