Responsibilities:


  • Design, implement and maintain data warehouse solutions including data migration tools, data modeling, data integration, data warehousing and database design.
  • Design and shape the business intelligence architecture including recommendations for new tools & capabilities.
  • Collaborate with BI Analyst and stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation.
  • Manage Power BI semantic models.
  • Assist BI Analysts with complex DAX measures and optimization of measures to improve performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve datarelated issues, performance bottlenecks, and dashboard responsiveness problems.
  • Lead projects to improve performance and functionality.
  • Ensure data security.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or specialized training/certification, or equivalent work experience
  • 35 years of experience as a BI Developer or Architect using an enterprise class business intelligence and analytics solution
  • Experience with Power BI: semantic models, Power Query
  • Advanced DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) skills
  • Advanced SQL skills. Experience with creating/maintaining stored procedures & structured views
  • Experience with Microsoft Analysis Services (SSAS), Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS) and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools, specifically Azure Data Factory
  • Cloud to cloud integration
  • Scripting, API development, Web connectors
  • Data Lake design
  • OLAP (Online analytical processing)
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, SAP ECC or S/4Hana a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Translate complex business problems into technical specifications
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
  • Ability to organize, analyze, and present data
