Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain data warehouse solutions including data migration tools, data modeling, data integration, data warehousing and database design.
- Design and shape the business intelligence architecture including recommendations for new tools & capabilities.
- Collaborate with BI Analyst and stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Manage Power BI semantic models.
- Assist BI Analysts with complex DAX measures and optimization of measures to improve performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve datarelated issues, performance bottlenecks, and dashboard responsiveness problems.
- Lead projects to improve performance and functionality.
- Ensure data security.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or specialized training/certification, or equivalent work experience
- 35 years of experience as a BI Developer or Architect using an enterprise class business intelligence and analytics solution
- Experience with Power BI: semantic models, Power Query
- Advanced DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) skills
- Advanced SQL skills. Experience with creating/maintaining stored procedures & structured views
- Experience with Microsoft Analysis Services (SSAS), Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS) and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools, specifically Azure Data Factory
- Cloud to cloud integration
- Scripting, API development, Web connectors
- Data Lake design
- OLAP (Online analytical processing)
- Knowledge of ERP systems, SAP ECC or S/4Hana a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Translate complex business problems into technical specifications
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
- Ability to organize, analyze, and present data
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
