- Assist in managing invasive plant species on company properties
- Help with lakes and ponds management, including treatments and plantings
- Participate in biological surveys to document flora and fauna
- Review and update natural resources management plans
- Contribute to planting native species, trail improvements, and nesting structures installation
- Assist in maintaining pollinator waystations and landscape beds
- Support grant applications, reports, and projects
- Operate project-specific vehicles and equipment
- Maintain and inspect equipment
- Assist in implementing various projects
- Handle project-related files and provide departmental support
- Keep supervisors informed and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Other duties as assigned
- Regular attendance and positive attitude
- Knowledge of natural resources management practices
- Proficient in technology use (Microsoft Office, ArcGIS, TerraFlex)
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to operate maintenance tools and vehicles
- Minimum 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Pursuing a degree in natural resources management or related field
- Valid Driver's License required
- Ability to perform tasks inherent to the position
- Effective communication and interpretation skills
- Physical labor in various environments
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring hand dexterity
- Work in indoor and outdoor environments under different conditions
