    Job Description and Duties

    Telework is available.

    Under the general supervision of the Business Continuity Unit Information Technology Manager (ITM) I, the Information Technology Associate (ITA) performs a wide variety of recurring, well-defined tasks required in the development and implementation of the Departments business resumption functions. These tasks involve database updates, contract processing, ServiceNow tracking (staff movement), vendor support, and technical maintenance. In addition, the ITA assists in the analyzing and documenting of unit business and system processes. The ITA monitors the ServiceNow "bucket" for incoming system administration trouble tickets and works with end users to perform minor level troubleshooting (, etc.). The ITA is responsible for assisting with the creation and coordination of business recovery exercises (full and tabletop), and Department business resumption plans.

    Working Conditions

    May be required to work nights and weekends during an exercise or in the event of a disaster.

  • Experience conducting a Business Impact Analysis (BIA). Specifically, detail what a BIA consists of, and your experience with conducting them.
  • Experience in process/system documentation. Specifically detail how you have developed procedures from the ground up. In addition, detail (if any) technical writing done to detail system administration processes.
