    Position Summary:


    The Engineering Group Leader will be responsible for managing the duties of the engineering group including design, research, prototyping, engineering documentation, estimating and process improvement.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Direct the development of new products;

    Develops and evaluates staffing plan; hires, trains, supervises, motivates, and/or develops staff; manages schedules and workflow.

    Manages project transitions between functional groups and project phases

    Solve design problems; adapt, alter, and/or improve existing products; interpret design input and translate into design of custom hydraulic manifold housings or valves, and develop detailed drawings for manufacturing and assembly of the product;

    Participate in cross-functional teams to address and resolve manufacturing, design and quality problems, and ensure the continuous, on-going improvement of processes and methods

    Write technical reports on testing results

    Drive continuous efficiency and effectiveness in day-to-day activitis

    Use documentation and analysis software; PDMLink, PECN, ECN, ANSYS, HYSAN

    Support the organization with sharing and implementing best practices across all locations ● Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
