Uvalde is seeking a consultant to provide support and guidance in the field of modern communication technologies, with a focus on digital HF radios.

The responsibilities for this role include identifying, recording, validating, and documenting requirements, as well as synchronizing them with existing processes and developing solutions.

The consultant will also be responsible for identifying and synchronizing overarching dependencies, analyzing and mapping models and processes, and developing and updating technical target images and roadmaps.

Other duties include preparing and conducting workshops, initiating, planning, and coordinating collaboration between the client and all relevant departments of BWI GmbH, building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders (authorities, offices, users, BWI, industry), and ensuring the results of workshops are secured.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant university degree and at least two years of professional experience, or equivalent qualifications with longer work experience.

Military experience, preferably as an officer or non-commissioned officer, is also desired, as well as a basic understanding of tactical leadership and IT support, and knowledge of ITSysBw.

Experience in identifying and analyzing requirements, proficiency in MS Office products (including SharePoint), and certification in ITIL, IPMA (Level D), or equivalent are also preferred.

The candidate should have a passion for digitalization and technological trends, strong analytical skills, and a customer-oriented mindset.

Fluency in German and English (especially technical English) is required, as well as a willingness to travel (up to 50% during peak periods).
