Intake Specialist - Customer Service Referral Center:
The CSRC Intake Specialist receives calls from people seeking behavioral health and/or medical services, verifies eligibility for the services, and schedules initial intake appointments.
Responsibilities:
- Receives incoming calls; determines whether requested services are available through JFCS; determines availability of funding source to support requested services.
- Schedules client intake appointments, verifies funding source data and obtains required authorizations.
- Creates Referral Demographic documents in NextGen EHR.
- Enters information into the tracking program.
- Remains aware of agency intake capacity limits and assists clients with accessing appropriate outside resources during those times when JFCS intake services may be closed or limited.
- Performs other related job tasks or responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Bilingual in Spanish & English; both spoken and written. _Pay Differential offered._
- Previous customer service or call center experience desirable.
- Must receive/maintain DPS fingerprint clearance.
