in the Directorate of Hazard Prevention/Operations, Command Center of Police Station 1,

permanent position, full-time.

The Aachen Police Headquarters is responsible for the Aachen city region, including the cities of Aachen, Alsdorf, Baesweiler, Eschweiler, Herzogenrath, Monschau, Stolberg, and Würselen, as well as the municipalities of Simmerath and Roetgen.

This area is bordered by 42 kilometers of shared border with the Netherlands and 63 kilometers of border with Belgium, making it a unique location in the "Three-Country Corner" and presenting special challenges for the Aachen police.

The head of the Aachen Police Headquarters is Police President Dirk Weinspach.

The department is divided into the Directorates of Hazard Prevention/Operations, Crime, Traffic, and Central Tasks, as well as the Management Staff.

Job Classification:

The classification is based on the collective agreement and its supplementary regulations for the state of North Rhine-Westphalia (EG 8, career group 1.2, salary scale for TV-L NRW).
