    Allison Transmission Senior Contracts Manager

    Job Title:
    Senior Contracts Manager

    Pay Grade:
    P4

    Job Description:

    Primary Purpose of Role:
    - Responsible for leading activities associated with contracting and proposals for major defense programs.
    - Lead activities from opportunity identification to program closeout for defense vehicles.
    - Develop contracting plans for U.S. Government and International contracts.

    Key Responsibilities:
    - Lead Capture Team activities.
    - Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Contracts Managers.
    - Develop and report on contract key business metrics.
    - Travel domestically and internationally when required.
    - Negotiate with USG and other Prime Contractors.
    - Manage Contract Invoicing and Receivables.

    Key Performance Measures:
    - Accuracy
    - Compliance with Government and ATI regulations

    Qualifications:
    Required:
    - Bachelor's in Business, Law, Finance, or equivalent.

    Preferred:
    - Master's in Business Administration

    Experience:
    Required:
    - Minimum of 7 years experience in Government and International Contracting.
    - Cross-functional / Matrix Organization experience.
    - Defense Wheeled and Tracked vehicle experience.
    - Product Development and Production experience.

    - Problem Solving
    - Self-Development

    This role requires proficiency in handling both International and United States Government contracts with prior related job experience.

    Scope Factors:
    Fully seasoned professional role:
    - Routinely exercises project leadership over complex projects.
    - Acts as a lead but is not a supervisor.
    - Interprets business issues and recommends solutions.
    - Works autonomously within established procedures.
